The file belt CS 411 Y benefits from a backing made of Y-polyester that is tear-resistant and robust. The abrasive grain is zirconia alumina, applied with a close coating and bonded with synthetic resin. Zirconia alumina has a uniform, crystalline structure that is hard and exceptionally tough. The major benefit of zirconia alumina is its self-sharpening properties. The blue abrasive has high aggressiveness and outstanding abrasive performance. The close coating of the zirconia alumina plus the tear-resistant polyester ensure a long service life at a consistently high surface quality of the workpieces being processed. The abrasive material has been engineered especially for work on steel and stainless steel. The file belt is an excellent choice for a variety of different applications:
